The listing on this page is based on personal experiences cross-checked with customer reviews provided by Booking.com. Most of the hotels have either been visited by myself or by one or more of my acquaintances.
By clicking on a hotel name, you can obtain detailed information about it, provided by either Booking.com or the hotel’s own website.
- Boutique Apex - If you want to avoid the bigger (chain) hotels and receive a more personal treatment, this recently (2008) opened hotel with only 12 rooms will certainly suit your needs. The hotel’s superb location is of course also a big advantage.
- Sarnıç (Ottoman Mansion) - With only 16 rooms, another more personal, very clean and comfortable hotel. Thanks to its great location only minutes away from the Blue Mosque and other famous landmarks in the Sultanahmet and Topkapi districts.
- Best Western Citadel - This 31 room charming low-rise hotel with its pink & white facade sits on the shores of Sultanahmet and a breathtaking view of Sea of Marmara. The backside is that the sightseeing spots require at least a 500 meter walk.
- Daphne - This boutique hotel is situated within walking distance of all the major attractions in the Sultanahmet and Topkapi districts. The rather small 20 rooms are very clean. Don’t forget to ask for a room with the magnificent sea-view.
- Oldcity - All 36 comfortable, light and sunny rooms of this boutique hotel offer historical and cultural sights of Sultanahmet, except for the two suits which offer Bosphorus views.
