This picture of the Golden Horn (Haliç) was taken from the Galata Tower. The Golden Horn thanks its name to the gold shine that sometimes reflects from the water when the sun is setting.

The Golden Horn (Haliç) as you can see it from the Pierre Loti café. The bridge in the middle of the picture is part of the E-5 highway. If you would follow the Golden Horn to the left, then you reach Miniatürk.
